This noble vision was given a tangible form as the Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha by PROF. B S PANDIT in 1976 to provide VALUE BASED EDUCATION to the children of Mysore. The school was realized in 1948-49 with a mere 8 students.
Managed by the WHO'S WHO of Mysore, G S S S is a non-profit organization. The dedication and loyalty of its members to the cause of education has helped the institution grow by leaps and bounds within a short period of time.

Varied Activities
Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha has not limited itself only to provide education but is also the cultural nucleus in Mysore sponsoring and organizing several cultural activities. Cultural activities providing an insight into the core of Indian life and aspirations are an integral part of this unique organization. The society and the public have recognized the Sangha's preeminent role in building a resurgent India and have been extending to it their patronage.
Today, GEETHA SHISHU SHIKSHANA SANGHA caters to the educational needs of nearly 2000 students with about 100 well experienced and dedicated staff to serve the Institution. The faculty is qualified , well trained and dedicated to the cause of education.

The rapid growth of the institution in such a short period of time is proof of the dedication of the managing committee of the institution towards the cause of education. The goal of GEETHA SHISHU SHIKSHANA SANGHA is to equip it's students to meet the challenges of this age of liberalization, globalization, and I T revolution and see them become the torchbearers of Indian culture and civilization.
