It was the vision of Smt. RUKMINI BAI PANDIT in the 1940s to inculcate the essence of the Bhagavadgita in children to give them a basic start to education.

This noble vision was given a tangible form as the Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha by PROF. B S PANDIT in 1976 to provide VALUE BASED EDUCATION to the children of Mysore. The school was realized in 1948-49 with a mere 8 students. Managed by the WHO'S WHO of Mysore, G S S S is a non-profit organization.

The dedication and loyalty of its members to the cause of education has helped the institution grow by leaps and bounds within a short period of time.
